Free Time

Some people have WAY to much free time on their hands.  I always see these random videos of people doing the stupidest things just because they had nothing better to do.

The first video I found was probably a bunch of college guys that had nothing better to do so they made a huge domino line with beer bottles.

These guys must drink a lot of beer!  And did they not think of the cleaning up that they would have to do after?  Or is that just because I am a girl that i thought about that?  But seriously...you can see all the bottles breaking and it is just making a mess.  I just don't understand.

This next video is if these other guys who just love making slow motion videos.  They love to capture the slow motion video of balloons popping, so they decide to step it up a notch.

Obviously, (if you watched the video) it took them quite a while to capture what only took a couple seconds to actually happen.  Although it is very interesting to watch a balloon pop in slow motion but it is a task that takes a lot of time.

What is this guy thinking?  As he says, women always ask him why he does it.  So strange and why would you just randomly decide to shoot anvils into the sky?  I have no ideo

#2 Slanted Reporting

Slanted reporting is everywhere now-a-days.  Even when we are telling a story we still slant it in one direction or another...at least slightly.  There are a lot of people out there that get offended and feel like they are being like to by the slanted reporters because they are only getting the story from one point of view, but it all depends on how the person takes it.

I could care less about slanted reporting because I never watch the news or read articles at all.  Honestly, I am not too aware of what is going on in the world today at all.  The only time I ever watch the news is when it is playing in a public place.  Other than that i would rather not watch it.

Basically, most news stations do have some slanted reporting.  So all of the news stations have different views on issues and they tend to just attack each others information.

If you watch this Youtube Link, it shows you exactly how some people attack other peoples information just because they are opposing views.

So no matter what there is going to be some slanted reporting in some ones favor.  And just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean its not true for someone else.

Meggs 'n Bacon / Megga-Tron / Meggers

I hope you could guess that ^those^ are some of the nicknames that people call me.

Well...my name is Meggan. Yes, with two 'g's.  Why my parents decided that? I have no idea, but I like it because I feel like my name is basically even on both sides.  One thing you should know about me is that I don't like going in order.  This is suppose to be my introduction, but I didn't feel like making this my first post. 

So what can I say about myself? Well I am 19 years old and I was born in Seattle, WA.  I moved to AZ when I was about 6 years old.  My goal is to graduate from GCC with my associates degree and then transferring over to either GCU or ASU.  I am still unsure of my major though.

Some of my hobbies include playing sports and I also love to draw.

These are some of the drawings that I have done in the past week.  I love to learn how to draw new things, but the thing that i really want to learn how to do is to paint.  I love the different ways that you can put the paint on a canvas.

Bad Lip Reading

So whenever you're really bored what do you do? 

Well when I am bored I play around on YouTube and find some really funny videos.  The best ones that i have found lately are these ones called "Bad Lip Reading."  The creators of the videos take scenes from movies or clips from TV and change the audio so it looks like they are saying something else.  I find it very entertaining because a lot of them actually look like the person is saying something very random.

And no, I am not a huge twilight fan.  I just think these videos are pretty funny to watch.  My favorite one is definitely the NFL one.  Even though guys normally like it more than girls do.

#1 Blog Blah Blah.....

Blogs... I am not that excited when it comes to blogs, but since I have started writing them last semester, I feel as though they have become a lot easier.  I have definitely come a long way since when i wrote my first blog and I'm looking forward to this semesters blog assignment.

So my favorite kind of blogs are the ones with a lot of pictures or an arts/crafts one because I love to make things and play around with old things to make them look good.

How About Orange is one of those types of blogs that I would love to follow.  They have so many things that you can make and I think it is visually appealing because it shows pictures of the steps in creating something.

A Beach Cottage is definitely a blog that I like.  It is basically short and sweet.  It is very easy to navigate and the way it is set up makes me want to read it and look around the site more.

Google Blog is a site that I would NEVER go on.  I am not interested in anything like that.  It makes me not want to read it because the whole page is just words.

So since I don't like blogs with all words, my goal is to add pictures so that it hopefully keeps you interested.
